The heritage listed Beenleigh Rum Distillery is the oldest registered and operating distillery in Australia, established in 1884. The distillery evolved from the still of the S.S. Walrus, run by Bosun Bill, the floating sugar mill and distillery that had become notorious for evading state duties on its rum production. It was said to have run aground on the bank of the Albert River where the Beenleigh facility stands today.
Through the years the distillery changed ownership and is now in the hands of Vok Beverages who owns and distributes the distillery’s flagship brand, Beenleigh Rum.

Beenleigh Dark Rum 5 Y.O
Beenleigh Dark is aged for five years in small, ex-brandy vats which give it its unique luscious flavour. Golden-toned in colour with long legs clinging to the glass, it’s packed full of spiced oak and toffee apple notes, giving way to honey, oak and lingering floral characters. The finish is silky smooth. We highly recommend enjoying neat over ice to savour the unique flavours of this outstanding, aged Australian rum.
Beenleigh Honey Liqueur
Beenleigh Honey begins life in the same way as the Dark. In the final stages of maturation we add a judicious helping of the world’s only remaining pure strain of Ligurian honey, sourced from Clifford’s farm on Kangaroo Island. Beenleigh Honey offers rich, golden colours with long silky legs that hold on the glass. Complex notes of spiced oak, toffee, lifted honey and hints of vanilla give way to a velvety smooth finish. Enjoy neat, over ice or in a cocktail.
Beenleigh White Rum
Beenleigh White Aged Rum is matured for two years in small ex-brandy vats, giving it a distinctive, lighter flavour. It is then filtered using carbon to remove the colour and heavier oak tones, to leave a clear rum with a soft mouth feel but still full of the diverse, and elaborate characteristics of molasses, together with a hint of oak and vanilla. An expertly crafted balance between the sweetness of oak and molasses and the heat of alcohol, that makes for the perfect cocktail rum.
